Athens,Greece

This project involved the energy upgrade of a residence through the installation of a 6.5 kW photovoltaic Net Metering system with energy storage.

The system has a nominal capacity of 6.5 kW and can generate approximately 9,000 kWh per year.
The produced energy is primarily consumed by the household during daylight hours, while the surplus is exported to the grid.
The homeowner is billed only for the net difference between the imported and exported energy (during periods without sunlight or high demand).

The battery storage system stores excess energy produced during midday, when solar generation is high, and supplies it back to the residence during evening hours when production ceases.
In this way, a high degree of self-consumption and energy independence is achieved.

The equipment used includes an Inverter by Fronius (Austria), solar panels by Luxor (Germany), aluminum mounting system by Metalumin, and an energy storage system by BYD.
